Each time I make a painting, I celebrate life and beauty. And each time, it is the first time ,a white canvas I am afraid of ,a white canvas which attracts me. Because I am in love with color and I am in love with paint. There is a mystical sensibility operating in my paintings, guided by a natural instinct for the emotionally evocative power of color and movement. Color energizes and informs my work. My art does mot follow any particular school or style; it just flows out of my heart. My images are both contemporary and classic ,all at once ,the result of a mix of different sources of inspiration, often unplanned. The expressive « Flower series « reverberates with a dynamic textural sense and powerful visceral shapes.
The « Imagine Series » aims at capturing the impalpable as I seize the essence of the emotional and physical experience. The « Vitrail Series « represents a visual narrative emotional link to the human experience with its exciting color palette and compelling tonal combinations. As the Modern painter Georgia O ‘Keefe stated ,I could say « I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for .« Because the painter uses his brush to make dream,to perhaps reflect, but most of all to wake up emotions.
